My name is Diane Hegger. I live in Aviston with my husband, Jim. He is a civil engineer. I have two grown children. My oldest is Christy. She lives in Chicago and works as a marketing specialist for International Truck and Engine. My son, Keith, lives in St. Louis and is the controller for the St. Louis Blues. I grew up in Germantown where my mother and father, older brother, and younger sister still live. I was a stay at home mother for many years. When my children were in the middle elementary grades, I became a bus driver and a teacher's aide. At age 35, I went back to school to become a teacher. I graduated in May of 1997 from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. I started teaching here at Damiansville in the fall of 1997. My husband and I enjoy watching sporting events, going out to dinner and movies, and camping. When we have time, we even enjoy trying to golf. |
